So this is other one great phone from Nokia. We start review talking about design.

Design:

When I saw that phone in my friend hands I didn’t know what is that. So I ask him to show it to me. “Yea, it’s light”- I said, when I get it to my hand. Nokia E71 is slim and stream-line form. Body is covered with chrome. It’s pitty that we saw fingerprints. But buttons aren’t perfect. You must to get used to E71. So I’m writing 7 points.

Screen:

There is a 320×240 screen on the E71. It’s really bright and all text is easy to read. Photos and video look good, not so good how in N95, but for my it’s enough. When I was browsing, I feel happy, all text, photos and other didn’t spoiled my eyes. There- 8 points.

Connectivity:

Very important thing for bussines class phone. It supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE with 850MHz/1900MHz UMTS/HSDPA. By the way it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a,b,g, Bluetooth 2.0, and GPS. So from there Nokia E71 gets 10 points.

Email:

E- series phone from Nokia without Email program? No way… E71 supports POP3/IMAP protocols, has “easy-to-setup” mail program. Bad- it hasn’t support of HTML Email, but this isn’t worst thing. So, email looks fantastic, but 9 points because we didn’t found HTML.

Sound:

It isn’t Music Express phone so didn’t wait best quality. But E71 plays louder than older E61. Music sounds really clear and well. Alarm will make you get up faster than earlier, this phone didn’t let for you sleep as long as you want. 10 points

Battery:

There’s a 1500mAh battery and it’s really good. A lot of emails, calls, messages, browsing and etc… 2 bars left. Pretty good result from Nokia. Again 10 points.

Using:

E71 is easy to use. Nice keyboard lets to yo write SMS, emails really fast. Long battery’s worktime makes all this features more useful. 3.2 megapixel camera, micro SD slot increase value for this phone. So my last conclusion is 9 points. It isn’t most amazing phone in the World so I left 1 point. But I really offer to buy this phone, because it leaves behind many other phones and price makes it higher than other. However if you are searching bussines class phone with many features which will let to you feel as well as with computer.

Now when touch phones are very popular Nokia aren’t sleeping. They are talking about creating of other E series toy- E90 with touch screen. I don’t know how we can control QWERTY keyboard on touch screen or it will be keyboard. But then why Nokia are creating phone with touch pad? So, I think this phone, will be something good and amazing.  Without that we will see new generation S60 software. By the cellpassion, it will be 5th generation Symbian.

New phone from Nokia and this time it’s E75. It’ll have sliding QWERTY keyboard. This is revenge to HTC and for their phone- S740. Bloggers haven’t a lot of information about this new Nokia’s toy, but it’s big brother of Nokia E71. We are thinking that Nokia will announce about E75 soon. So we are waiting…

Newest one toy from Nokia - E71, now are available in the USA, officially. No more rumors. Price is about 500$. Oh, if you are reading this blog, you may know that this phone was available in Chicago earlier, but not all peoples can go to that town. Phone is really good:

QWERTY keyboard, quad-band GSM and dual-band HSDPA connectivity (850/1900 MHz for the US version), Wi-Fi, built-in GPS, Nokia Maps, a QVGA  TFT display (16 million colors), HTML browser, email readers and other stuff, Office apps, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, video recording. Today all phones must have FM radio, music and video player, so you will find it here. This phone has Symbian 9.2 S60 3rd edition. Now are available only grey version, but soon Nokia will release and white color version. About working with US operators Nokia aren’t telling yet.

Nokia released new version of “Nokia Chat”. It’s based on  Xmpp/Jabber. So you can chat on Google Chat and others… If you want to use this program, you must have Nokia account. In this version You’ll find more intresting features: a lot of smilies, WLAN and GPRS using (this chat works with this protocols), “send location” function.

P.S. This new is nothing special for E-series phones, but this new is important for all Nokia users, so if you have E-series, you will be intrested in this application.
